Delicious! So far, I've only found the staff friendly, never to be embarrassed about a casual saying. The only drawback: a few more vegetarian dishes would be nice. For health reasons I'm not allowed to eat meat anymore, so I only have a very small selection, but it tastes really good. For those who like meat (and have no health restrictions in this regard): be very hungry! Update: Also highly recommended during Corona time! Sufficient protective measures are taken, but still comfortable and really great staff, as well as delicious and inexpensive food!

Very nice restaurant in the city center of Lippstadt. The staff is very courteous and always available. The food is great and the choice between the dishes is huge. Overall, I am very satisfied and would come again.

Never again, have been there many times. The last time you were asked to leave. You were constantly harassed by waiters.

Always impressive. Very friendly helpful staff. A solid good kitchen that can convince from steaks (also medium rare) to Balkan dishes to French cuisine. Time and again a benchmark for us in terms of price-performance ratio.

Simply world class! Absolutely best restaurant in the area here :) There is no other price / performance ratio anywhere else! And there is always something on the house after dinner ? can only be recommended! :)

We were in the Marktschänke for the second time today. The food was good and more than plentiful, the price unbeatable. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is cozy and you feel very well. After the meal there was cappuccino on the house. Really recommended. We will be back.

Very good Balkan restaurant, service is very attentive without annoying, Seniorenportionen for the ladies and children, very delicious and very reasonably priced, at peak times you should book,

Nice family run restaurant with typical Balkan grill dishes, so expect a lot of meat. Good portions, everything we had was delicious and we couldn't leave anything on the plate, although the size of the portions was not small for three (3) guys. On the photo is the dish "Yugoslavische platte" (Yougoslavian plate, or "jugoslavenski tanjur" in the original) 31€ on the menu, for 2 people, but the serving was for 3 (for 45€). And the tyipical serbian (mekana šljivovica) spirit on the end of the meal was just right to finish in harmony. Good value for the money, no overpricing.
